PRESERVING CHILDHOOD MEMORIES
Restoration of a 1970's Children's Book of Bible Storeys
Boards are loose and sellotape has been used, the spine is missing and board edges and corners are abraded. The covering material is paper embossed to look like book cloth.
The sewing is intact apart from the first two sections which will require sewing. The sellotape has stained the boards and in some places removed the colour.

Missing spine showing old spine linings which will have to be removed to enable the first two sections to be re-sewed and then re-lined using conservation grade glue.
